• Week 1- Understanding Motivation and Finding Inspiration

    Writing a lucrative screenplay requires a firm understanding of who you are writing for.  Week one of coaching will focus on Understanding your motivation as a writer, help you find inspiration, and evaluate your target audience to ensure you have a commercially viable script.

  • Week 2- Finding Your Story

    Every movie idea needs a story.  Having an idea isn't enough to write a script.  Week two is about turning that idea into a viable concept that we can develop into a full script.

  • Week 3- Creating the Blueprint

    Here we begin developing our outlines, story and act structures to begin writing.  You will learn how to use AI to assist you in your process and will begin writing your script.

  • Week 4- Character Development

    Strong character development is essential to dynamic storytelling. Learn how to dig deeper into the lives of your characters to enhance your story.  You should be at Starting Act 2 of your script this week.

  • Week 5 - Dynamic Dialogue

    The conversations that your characters have will impact how your audience feels.  Learn how to use cadence to improve your dialogue.  You should be starting Act 3 of your script this week.

  • Week 6-Coverage and Revisions

    You should have a complete first draft of at least 75 pages by the start of this session.  You will submit your script to us for a coverage report which will provide you feedback on how to improve your script. You have four weeks from this class to make revisions and to resubmit for coverage.
